Video: Ship carries 22 barges

Ship transports 22 barges from Korea to Rotterdam

Blue Marlin, a 738ft (224m) cargo ship, which usually transports electrical goods from China, was put to the test recently.
In a previous job, Blue Marlin carried USS Cole, a 505ft (154m) American destroyer ship back to the US after being damaged in Yemen, and delivered a 60,000 tonne oil platform to Texas from China, but her latest mission tops the lot.

This amazing ship managed to transport 22 barges from Korea to Rotterdam. They were stacked on two large platforms, secured on Blue Marlin’s submersible deck which allows the ship to sink a staggering 13 metres, allowing its cargo to be floated on and off.
