The Welsh Boat Show, to be held this weekend in Carmarthen, will be three times bigger than last year’s event. 15,000 to 20,000 people are expected to attend the three-day show at the United Counties Showground.

Organisers say that visitors will find that many improvements have been made to the show this year. “It will show to the rest of the UK, and to representatives of other seafaring nations, what Welsh boatbuilding and Wales have to offer”, said Welsh Assembly Government Tourist Minister, Rhodri Glyn Thomas.

The show will be open on May 3rd and 4th from 10am to 5pm, and on May 5th from 10am to 4pm.
