Liberation Day is tomorrow and the anticipation is building
There has been a hive of activity around the marina this afternoon. Boats are being dressed with bunting and marquees, stages and even a carousel have sprung up around Victoria Marina. Although the sunshine has now faded and grey clouds have gathered, there is still an air of excitement and anticipation among the fleet for tomorrows festivities. Its going to be a spectacle.
Tonight MBM crews gathered at the Guernsey Yacht Club for a cruise BBQ. On the eve of Liberation Day day local Guernsey-man and MBM staffer Richard Poat gave a talk on the what the day means to the island.
