Switch the isolator on your boat battery

Get the most out of your boat battery, particularly when moored or anchored somewhere remote

Save your boat battery when anchoring

When anchored or moored remotely, and with high draw domestic systems such as a fridge running, make sure your battery isolator switch has been turned to draw off the domestic bank only. Some switches on smaller boats can link all the batteries together (marked 1, 2 or both) to run the domestics, compromising starting.
