Princess 40M: Inside the Plymouth yard’s largest build

Interior pictures of the latest Princess 40M have been revealed, with the Plymouth yard showing off the opulent styling of M/Y X5

Princess has given superyacht fans a treat by revealing interior pictures of its latest tri-deck build: the Princess 40M X5.

Built in Plymouth by the renowned South Coast manufacturer, X5 features a bespoke interior by Fendi Casa and the Princess Design Studio.

Boasting five guest cabins and three crew cabins, the latest Princess 40M can accommodate up to ten guests and seven crew.

Upholstery comes in cream leather, velvet and satin, while the cabinetry is built from cherry wood with a gloss finish.

On the upper deck, guests can relax in the Sky Lounge, which offers panoramic views from the L-shaped seating area.

Other highlights include a macassar ebony dining table in the main saloon and a full-beam bathroom with marble bath and shower leading off from the master stateroom.

The four guest cabins each have their own en-suite and unique colour scheme: yellow and gold in the aft; red in the bow; green to starboard; and blue to port.

Launched in Spring 2012, the Princess 40M is the company’s flagship vessel and measures 131ft long from bow to transom.

And desspite her name, X5 is actually the fourth 40M to come off the Plymouth production line.
