Luxury 26ft all-mahogany Hacker-Craft to make its European debut

The Hacker Boat Company is an American yard known for making luxury tenders and sportsboats, and one of its all-mahogany models will be on show at ExCel in January. Making its European debut, the 26ft Sportabout will be unveiled by Poole-based Gibbs Marine Sales. Don Bissessar of Gibbs said, “We are thrilled to be representing such an important American brand in Europe and are very much looking forward to a productive relationship with Hacker-Craft.”
 
The Sportabout will start at £144,000 excl VAT and comes fitted with a Crusader 5.7MPI V8 engine, producing 330hp.
 
The Hacker Boat Company is the largest American manufacturer of classic-style mahogany motorboats. Each one is hand crafted and takes more than 1400 hours to build. The company builds boats from 24ft to 35ft, from luxury tenders to custom one off designs. Forbes magazine named them in the top 50 of America’s best products.
