Ancasta has cemented its reputation as Europe's biggest brokerage dealer by buying Premier's brokerage division
Premier Marinas has sold its yacht brokerage division to Ancasta International Boat Sales. The purchase was completed on March 19.
All staff at Premier’s brokerage offices in Swanwick and Gosport will move under Ancasta as part of the deal, along with all used yacht and motorboat listings.
Pete Bradshaw, Premier’s managing director, said, “Premier continues to be an ambitious company. We have taken a strategic decision to focus solely on the acquisition and operation of UK coastal marina and boatyard businesses.
“Aside from acquisitions, we have exciting plans in place for the forthcoming year with over £6m alone earmarked for the upgrade and development of facilities on our existing marina sites.”
Premier plans to develop a new dry stack at Gosport Marina and invest in Premier’s boatyard facilities at Chichester and Swanwick (pictured).
The addition of these two new offices to the Ancasta family increases the size of the network to 18 offices – 15 on the UK south coast, two in France and one in Palma de Mallorca.
