Annual RYA muster

Book your place now for the 2009 event

The 2009 RYA spring muster will take place at Cowes Yacht Haven on the Isle of Wight from 24-26 April.

The RYA describe the muster as the perfect chance for boaters to tune their skills before the summer and high season of boating begins.

The weekend is designed for both sailors and motor boaters; there should be something for everyone amongst the master classes, boat handling sessions and expert presentations. There will also be ‘industry experts’ on hand to discuss any issues you have on your own boat on a one-to-one basis.

Events will include VHF radio and DSC tips from ICOM, electronic navigation advice from Raymarine and interactive group sessions on how to abandon ship safely, run jointly by Ocean Safety and the RNLI.

It’s not all hard work and skill polishing though, the Friday evening will see a drinks reception at Cowes Yacht Haven and Alpine Electronics will run a night of drinks and partying on the Saturday night.
