Bayliner owner uses his boat as a battering ram

Builder uses his Bayliner as a battering ram to damage client's house following a dispute over unpaid work

An irate builder used his Bayliner boat as a battering ram to damage a customer’s house, destroying the garage, and leaving the damaged boat in the middle of the drive, following a dispute over unpaid work.

Neighbours in Kingfisher Drive in Charlotte, North Carolina, said the builder, Gregg Gensler, deliberately backed his Bayliner, which was on its trailer, into the garage and then drove off leaving the boat lying sideways on the drive.

The owner of the home said that he had paid Gensler $1690 (£1095) for repairs to his garage and decking, but that the work had not been properly carried out and he had asked for his money back.

Gensler was later arrested by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police who said that because of the extent of the damages the suspect will face charges.
