In Belfast, a Stena Line ferry collides with a container ship just a mile from the terminal. In Germany a fire at a storage facility has led to chemicals being leaked into a stream, turning it bright green, whilst in Malaysia an ax-navy submarine is displayed at the Melaka Museum. In Greece, a sunken ship containing 1800 tonnes of oil is surrounded by a floating barrier to stop leaking oil spreading fourth, and in the Spratly Islands, Chinese soldiers protect commercial vessels from Somali pirates.
