Eight boats have been destroyed and two others damaged by a fire that broke out in the early hours on 27 May in a Holyhead boatyard
Eight boats have been destroyed by fire in a Holyhead boatyard. Two other boats were damaged by the blaze which broke out shortly before 6am today (27 May) at Sunshine Marine Boat Yard, Llanrhyddlad.
Firefighters from Holyhead and Amlwch used breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. A joint investigation into its cause is being carried out by North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Police.
