A man was treated for burns to his arms after his boat caught fire on its mooring on the River Cam early yesterday morning.

The incident happened just after 6am yesterday morning as the boat was moored at Old School Lane, Upware, East Cambs, near the Five Miles From Anywhere pub.

The boat was completely destroyed by the fire and one male casualty suffered burns to his arms and received treatment by ambulance staff.
