First look at the Princess V39

The British builder has released an artist's impression of its first sub-40-footer in over a decade

Princess has revealed the first drawing of its new V39, the smallest boat for the builder in over 10 years.

Fitted with twin Volvo D6-330s as standard, Princess says its new baby is “exhilarating and economical, with

quick transition to plane and highly efficient cruising speeds.”

The profile drawing reveals a blue and white hull, and above decks we are told there is a teak-laid cockpit with a wet-bar and ample seating.

We haven’t seen drawings of the inside of the boat yet but Princess promises lots of light, space and a highly sociable area. The forward cabin comes with an en suite and secondary access to the saloon, while the aft cabin can be fitted with optional sliding berths to provide conversion to a double when required.

The list price of the new V39 is £282,000 (inc VAT) and Princess will release more details and images at the upcoming Southampton Boat Show.
