Hunton Powerboats to ‘properly’ launch in USA

Fiona Pool, CEO of Hunton Powerboats has revealed that the Hampshire firm will be ‘properly launching’ into the USA market

Luxury powerboat brand Hunton is set to take on the American market, with a full-scale launch on the other side of the pond.

CEO Fiona Pool revealed in an interview with the New York Post this week (April 21) that she has big plans for exporting Hunton Powerboats to the USA.

“Our boats have always been shipped overseas, but now that we’re ready, we are properly launching in the United States, the largest marine market in the world,” she told the newspaper.

Launching a Stateside Hunton XRS37 would cost $850,000 including shipping and taxes, the report adds. Hunton’s range of 50 knot+ speedboats also includes the XRS43 (pictured above).

The news comes as Hunton continues to tease us with cryptic images of the upcoming XRS52, which will be the firm’s first new model in several years.
