Jeanneau releases details of new models for 2013

A flagship NC model and all new Voyage 42 are the highlights

Jeanneau has released initial details of the new models we can expect from them in 2013.

The most interesting of which are a flagship of the NC range, called the NC14, and an all new design for the yard in the shape of the Voyage 42 (pictured above).

Information on the Voyage 42 is thin on the ground at the moment but it’s been designed for Jeanneau by Tony Castro Design and it’s the first model in a line up which will eventually feature a range of boats of this type.

Jeanneau says that the hull has been built with efficiency in mind but will maintain a high standard of sea keeping at speeds of 15-28 knots.

What we can tell from the single image that Jeanneau has released is that the Voyage 42 is a wheelhouse cruiser with a decent flybridge and what look like very safe walkaround decks.

The other interesting news is that of the NC14. Very much in the style of the NC9 and NC11 that have gone before it the NC14 boasts a single-level saloon and lots of glass throughout, including panes in the roof above the cockpit and helm position.

Below decks the master cabin has enough space to include a full walk-in wardrobe.

Exact engine options and prices are yet to be released for either boat but they will both be present at the Paris and Dusseldorf boat shows.
