Night of nautical and aerodynamic celebration

Sunseeker Sales raising money for charity

Sunseeker Sales Group is to host its 2008 Charity Spring Ball on Saturday (12 April) at the Science Museum, London. Held in the Aviation Room, more than 250 guests will help raise money for the host’s chosen charity, SPARKS (Sport Aiding Medical Research for Kids), as well as celebrating the opening of the boating season.

The Ball will officially mark the launch of the company’s 2008 events calendar while being aimed to complement Sunseeker ownership and encourage their maximum use throughout the season.

The black tie evening will acknowledge the glory days of the sea and air industries and conjure up the elegance of the 1930s and 40s. Guests, together with SPARKS’ joint presidents Gabby and Kenny Logan and Sunseeker Sales Group’s Powerboat P1 race team, will be treated to fine food and wine in the Flight Gallery and music from a Glen Miller-esque big band in the Making the Modern World Gallery, while having the opportunity to provide invaluable support to the children’s charity SPARKS by taking part in an auction.

Co-sponsored by Coutts, Bollinger, Boodles, Powder Byrne, Constance Hotels Experience and Alpine, the night will be elegant and decadent.

Dominic Byrne, Managing Director at Sunseeker Sales Group, says:
“This will be a fabulous event to celebrate the beginning of the Sunseeker 2008 boating season and we are very grateful to our guests who will be showing tremendous support for a very worthwhile charity. It is particularly appropriate that we are hosting our Ball within the Aviation Room at the Museum because like the aviation industry, Sunseeker brings together the very best designers, engineers and technicians to produce outstanding products which must hold their own in the international market place. We look forward to welcoming our guests to this glittering evening.”
