Photos of Haines 400 Thames launch

Haines held a special launch party for its 400 model at Harleyford Marina on Saturday and we have the photos to prove it

The sun came out on the Thames on Saturday as Haines hosted a Thames launch party for its new six-berth 400 model.

The model on display was kindly loaned for the event by owners Chris and Lesley Hansford and had a semi displacement hull and was fitted with a single Nanni 200hp diesel.

The 400 is offered with either a semi displacement or a planing hull version and there are a range of engine options available up to twin Volvo 330hps, giving speeds of up to 28 knots for coastal cruising.

James Fraser of Norfolk Yacht Agency, a Haines dealer, said, “It was great to meet Haines owners from the Thames and we look forward to welcoming some to Norfolk when they decide to change their boat. We are happy to consider part exchanges for customers ordering a new Haines, and we like to show customers around the factory to see boats in production.”

The Haines 400 was launched at last year’s Southampton Boat Show and this was the first time it had been viewed on the Thames.
