Latest powerboat models to be shown together for the first time at Port Solent
Latest models from many of the world’s leading powerboat manufacturers will be shown together for the first time at a new, free to enter, boat show. Titled the Festival of Power, it will be held at Port Solent Marina, Portsmouth, on Friday 29 – Sunday 1 July 2007 from 10am to 5pm. It will provide a unique opportunity to view the latest models and quiz experts on new technology.
The Festival of Power brings together five of the UK’s top boat dealers including Abersoch Land & Sea, Ancasta, Essex Boat Yards, Gibbs and Peters Opal – all displaying an impressive array of new craft. The show, which is conveniently timed for those still wanting to purchase a boat for the summer season, also features fast and luxurious cars.
Brands on show will include Arvor, Azimut, Bavaria, Doral, Fairline, Faeton, Glastron, Uttern, Rodman, Sealine and Regal. All varieties of sizes and models will be available for visitors to step on-board as well as providing the opportunity to talk to experienced sales staff and make direct comparisons on the water.
A spokesperson for the event commented;
“There will be a host of exciting activities and products to view at the ‘Festival of Power’ both on and off the water. From stunning power boats to electronics and new technology, finance to motoring as well as top tips on boat handling from the South Coast’s leading training centre, Marine Matters, plus lots more to keep visitors entertained.”
The event, which coincides with the 21st anniversary of Port Solent Marina will also display a fleet of luxury fast cars, including Jaguar and Land Rover from HA Fox Southampton, intensifying the ‘power’ element and adding to the scope of the show. A myriad of bars, restaurants and leisure facilities based at Port Solent also guarantee a full day of activities for visitors
