Princess to launch new V62-S at Southampton Boat Show

Updated V62 will feature longer cockpit and updated hull glazing

Princess has announced that an updated version of its popular V62 will be debuting at the PSP Southampton Boat Show in September.

Called the V62-S, the new boat is a revamp rather than a revolution, but buyers should still expect plenty of quality new touches from the Plymouth yard.

The two main differences are a lengthened cockpit to maximise outdoor space and updated hull glazing to give the V62-S a more contemporary look and allow more light inside.

Inside, the layout is the same as the V62’s, with a large master suite amidships, a VIP forward and a twin guest cabin nestled behind the lower saloon.

There’s no word yet on whether the engine set-up will be any different on the V62-S, but that’s probably no bad thing.

The V62 picked up a Motor Boat of the Year Award in the sportscruiser over 45ft segment in 2010 – so it’d be hard to improve on what is already an exceptional hull and ride.
