Company to be closely involved with all aspects of navigation and safety
Raymarine’s sales and technical team will be present with a support trailer at the start and finish of the race, assisting with last minute technical enquiries.
The company will also be donating a variety of prizes for the winners and runners-up on each of the ten legs with a main award going to the overall sea race winner.
Hugo Ambrose, director of RB12, said: “We are delighted to welcome Raymarine as the first of our sea equipment suppliers. Their experience and expertise will be invaluable to our competitors.”
The winner of the RB12 sea race will receive a £35,000 cash purse as well as the prestigious Beaverbrook Round Britain Trophy which will be presented by Lord Beaverbrook himself.
