Following the Malaysian Grand Prix, UIM Commissioners have issued a “yellow card” to Russian contender Stanislas Kourtsenovsky for dangerous driving. Kourtsenovsky was co-driver for championship leader Guido Cappellini’s in the Zepter Team. The yellow card, Kourtsenovsky’s third this season, means he was not allowed to participate in the next round of the Formula 1 World Championship held at Singapore on October 26. According to Formula 1 rules, a driver with three yellow cards loses the right to participate in the following round of the current series. Hence Stanislas Kourtsenovsky will rejoin the contest at the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix on November 28th. Seven-time World Champion Guido Cappellini has since announced that Ivan Brigada (Italy) will substitute Kourtsenovsky in Singapore.
