Team Premier competes in ’24 Peaks Challenge’

Staff from Premier will be hoping to climb 24 peaks in the Lake District in just 24 hours

A team made up of staff from Premier Marinas will be competing in the ’24 Peaks Challenge’ in July.

The challenge is to climb 24 peaks (all over 2400 metres) in the Lake District in 24 hours.

The seven-man Premier squad will be made up of Dan Hughes (marina manager of Port Solent), Graham Bristowe (marina manager of Gosport Marina), Carl Jarmaine and Graeme Barnsley (assistant marina manager of Port Solent), John Aldwinkle (head office IT engineer), James Elliott (lock master of Port Solent) and Andrew Garland CMM (marina manager of Brighton Marina).

The money being raised will go to charity Seafarer’s UK, a registered charity that works on behalf of all seafarers, from those just embarking on a career at sea to those facing distress through unemployment or homelessness and loss of livelihood through accidents at sea. Over the past 10 years, £26m has been granted to help those in need.
