Heartless thieves have left boat owners reeling just as they should be making the most of the sunshine

Heartless thieves have left boat owners reeling just as they should be making the most of the boating weather.

On 2 May a bright orange Dagger Redline kayak was stolen from the TS Challenger Sea Cadets base in Putney. The kayak has the number ‘PC15’ marked on it and has the serial number UK17133. If you see the boat click here to report the sighting.

In a separate incident, on 5 May a steel narrowboat calledTruculent(pictured) was reported missing from Sawley Marina in Long Eaton, Notts. It was last seen heading through Tamworth on 6 May. The boat had been for sale on brokerage and has a British Waterways registration number of 510205 and has a dark blue hull and a green superstructure.
