Grand Banks 59 Aleutian - the best of all worlds
Grand Banks 59 Aleutian
What is it?: A sumptuous long-range pilothouse cruiser.
Worth seeing because: It’s the best of all worlds: a healthy turn of speed, as well as an offshore range and lavish interior boasting three big cabins.
With a modified deep-vee hull and power options up to twin 1,000hp diesels, the 59 should reach 25 knots at least.
It’s the smallest of the Aleutian range but Grand Banks have retained many of the tasteful GB traits seen on bigger models.
As well as the flybridge helm, around which lies ample seating, there is a helm below that also offers excellent visibility due to those big windows.
The standard layout for the lower deck offers a full-beam midships master cabin and ensuite heads to starboard with shower stall. The guest cabin is also ensuite.
