Fairline's search for a new CEO is over with the appointment of Alistair Schofield to the top job at the Oundle yard.
Schofield comes from Doncasters Group Ltd, a manufacturer of precision components and assemblies, where he was MD of the group's turbocharger components and turbine airfoil divisions.
He will take up the new position on February 1.
Nick Sanders, chairman of Fairline, said: "We are delighted to bring a CEO of Alistair's calibre to the business and are confident that with his exceptional experience he will take Fairline through its next stage of development."
The hunt for a new Fairline boss began following the departure of longstanding CEO Derek Carter after 2011's PSP Southampton Boat Show.
