Fairline Middle East office to open in Dubai

The Oundle boatbuilder has announced that ACE Marine will be selling its models in the United Arab Emirates under the name Fairline Middle East

Fairline will be hoping to make waves in the Middle Eastern market with the launch of its new Dubai dealership.

ACE Marine will be trading as Fairline Middle East, selling the British-built models into the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.

The new dealership has been set up by Fairline owner Tarek Khalil, who has also founded Fairline Egypt and Fairline Lebanon.

Fairline Middle East’s first major event will come with next month’s Dubai International Boat Show (3-7 March), where a number of new models will be showcased.

Mr Khalil said that there was a huge appetite for Fairline boats in the Middle East region: “Last year we delivered the first Targa 48 GT model to a customer in Egypt and we recently delivered a Squadron 60 model to a customer in Beirut.”

Stuart McCullough, commercial director at Fairline Boats, added: “Not only is this new dealership situated in a beautiful location, it represents an important development in Fairline’s expansion in the Arabian Gulf – a region within which we are committed to growing our presence.”

The news comes just a few days after Fairline announced that its new boats agreement with Boats.co.uk, it’s largest UK dealer, would be coming to an end in April.
