We continue our series on the most exciting launches at the London Boat Show with the Hacker-Craft 26
We expect there to be a small pool of onlookers huddled around this boat for the duration of the show.
The Hacker-Craft 26 is a sumptuous throwback to the classic American runabout, although some bright spark couldn’t decide whether it was a sportsboat or runabout and decided to call it a sportabout!
Forget the cheesy hybrid name though, because there’s nothing hybrid about the engine, a 5.7-litre petrol V8 from Crusader, which should be good for well over 40 knots with an exhaust note to die for.
