Countdown to London: Chris-Craft Corsair 32

We continue our series on the most exciting launches at the London Boat Show with the Chris-Craft Corsair 32

It’s a very welcome return to the London Boat Show to Chris-Craft, whose brand new Corsair 32 is being seen for the first time in the UK.

This is a boat built for bay-hopping on a beautiful sunny day, with sloping backrests in the cockpit encouraging you to get horizontal and two big sundpads over the engine hatch.

We can vouch for the boat’s superb handling after testing the 32 last summer (the report is in our February 2013 issue, out January 3) as well as its build quality.

UK buyers may prefer the Volvo D4-300 diesels over the standard petrol engines, but either way there’s plenty of grunt on offer, with speeds in excess of 40 knots.
