Fairline Squadron 50: first look

MBY can reveal Fairline's plans for a new 50ft Squadron

An all new 50ft Fairline Squadron will be ready to hit the water in the summer of 2011.

It will be the second new Squadron, after the entry-level Squadron 41, to be revealed following Fairline’s plans to discontinue their popular Phantom range.

The 50 is based on the same hull as the soon to be launched Targa 50 Gran Turismo, sharing such niceties as the unique tender launching system.

Below decks, Fairline have packed in three ensuite cabins and they claim that the feeling of space in the master cabin forward would shame many 60ft boats.

Like the Targa 50 on which it is based the Squadron 50’s saloon can be revolutionised by the optional powered side windows which lower at the touch of a button.

The galley is located aft, adjacent to the cockpit doors which can be fitted with an optional power assisted window, making it as easy as possible to serve those on deck.

Huge attention has once again been paid to flooding the boat with as much natural light as possible, there are no less than eighteen hull windows and a strip of glass running down the centre of the coach roof.
