The Honda Formula 4-Stroke Powerboat Championship looks set for an exciting season, with a new calendar and schedule for 2008.
There will be five venues including a June race in Plymouth, the first held there without Class One backing, proving the series can now stand alone as a big draw in the major race venues.
The season runs from May to September and concludes in the Isle of Man.
MD Steve Curtis says: “I think a lot of people are now starting to recognise the potential of the sport and the benefit our events have on the local economy.
“Last year’s Lowestoft Powerboat Grand Prix was estimated to have produced in the region of �£2million for the tourism industry.â?
