Petrolhead heaven has opened. It’s called Chiswick Honda, it’s in West London and it stocks the entire range of Honda power equipment, from the smallest outboard to the biggest MPV, via motorbikes, generators and lawnmowers.
The multi-dealership concept is intended to bring the entire range of Honda power equipment to you, the customer, without the slightest inconvenience. To make your appreciation of internal combustion more comfortable, Honda has also included changing facilities and showers for motorcyclists, a resident beautician for ladies resolutely unmoved by the finer points of engineering, Internet access for stimulation-hungry children, and a Costa coffee shop. At full complement, Chiswick Honda will be staffed by 125 people.
For those striking the biggest deals, Honda has also introduced business meeting rooms with video conferencing and DVD facilities.
“Initial reaction from consumers has been phenomenal,” said dealer principal David Grainger. “Because we have so many different products, the opportunity to cross-sell throughout the Honda brand is huge and this new type of environment makes experiencing all Honda products much easier.”
“We have always looked at ways of leveraging specific benefits from our different product sectors,” said Martin Sanders, General manager of Honda (UK) Power Equipment. “With this fantastic new facility all our customers will be able to get their hands on products that they may not otherwise know we even produce.”
