HRH to make special visit to disabled boating charity

HRH The Princess Royal is to visit Lymington SailAbility, to name a new RIB and hand out certificates to disabled boaters.

She will name the Windrider 17 which was purchased using funds raised by the club’s chairman Alison Gunn when she sailed around the Isle of Wight solo in 2005.
Alison is partially blind.

HRH will also present RYA dinghy Level 2 certificates to disabled sailors from the club at a reception at Lymington Town Sailing Club.

The visit will take place on Monday, 21 April.
