Man behind classics like the Fairline Mirage 29 and Princess 37 opens up archives
The original drawings behind some of the UK’s most iconic motor boat designs are now available to buy.
John Bennett, the man behind classics like the Fairline Mirage 29, Broom 37, Princess 37 and Atlantic 444 (pictured), has opened up his archive to anyone who wants the blueprints to their boat.
To see if the drawings for your boat are available, visit www.johnbennettdesigns.co.uk and make an enquiry.
In some cases, only hull lines are available, while full cross sections and internal layouts are available in others.
The prints are bonded onto foamex board and then placed within a contemporary black frame behind non-reflective acrylic glazing.
Each print will be roughly 75x50cm in size. Framed pictures cost £299 and unframed will set you back £199.
