There can’t be too many tougher approaches than this – a frantic gunning through the narrow channel that leads to Depoe Bay Harbour in Oregon.

Said to be the world’s smallest harbour, the entrance is a narrow, wave-channeling terror ride with big rocks either side ready to catch out the unlucky.
