Waterways debate set for Wednesday

The re-scheduled parliamentary debate to take place in Westminster Hall

A re-scheduled parliamentary debate on waterways funding will take place on Wednesday.

The original debate was meant to take place on 8 November, but it was postponed in advance of Parliament’s recess.

Wednesday’s debate on the “impact of grant reduction on the work of British Waterways (BW) ” will run from 2.30pm to 4pm in Westminster Hall.

All MPs that have signed Early Day Motions about DEFRA’s cuts to the budgets of BW and the Environment Agency have been invited to attend.
