Work begins on Plymouth's King Point Marina

Work has begun on a new 171-berth marina in Plymouth that will become the centerpiece of the redevelopment of the city’s Millbay area.

King Point Marina is being developed by Sutton Harbour Holdings, and is expected to be fully operational by early August.

The marina will have berths for boats from five to 25 metres, and a two-storey shoreside building containing showers, toilets and a terrace.

The top floor has been set up to house a yacht club or restaurant, and offers views out over Plymouth Sound.
