Zapcat Racing has confirmed plans to expand across Europe.
Zapcat Racing has confirmed plans to expand across Europe with championships in Norway, Sweden and France for 2005.
Dealerships are also being set up in Denmark and Iceland.
Race director Euan McGrath said: “We are thrilled. This is our first venture into the mainland European market after four successful racing seasons in the UK.”
The championships will be made up of strict one-design racing. Zapcats were developed from surf rescue craft in South Africa and are powered by 50hp engines capable of reaching 35 knots.
