Ferretti Custom Line 108 to launch in summer 2015

Ferretti Group has announced that the new Ferretti Custom Line 108 will be built and launched next year

The Ferretti Custom Line range will be expanding in 2015 with the launch of a 108ft model, it has been announced.

Known as the Ferretti Custom Line 108, the new model builds on the success of the Custom Line 100, which won our Custom Yacht of the Year Award in 2012.

Stefano De Vivo, chief commercial officer at Ferretti Group, said: “We have perfected an already winning product.

“Our choice has been immediately endorsed by the market: two hulls have indeed already been sold. We hope to reap the benefits of our work next summer, when the 108 will officially make its debut”.

Ferretti has used the extra eight foot hull length to offer even more space on board and premium features, such as a float-in garage that can swallow up jetski or tender measuring more than 5m.

Larger hull windows will let more light into the four VIP cabins below decks, while the main-deck master stateroom has been made brighter as well.

Fit and finish

The extended cockpit area features a dining area, cocktail corner, C-shaped sofa and all the other luxury touches you would expect on a yacht of this size.

Interior design by Centro Stile is suitably opulent, with dark oak cabinetry, LED lighting, leather furnishings and marbled bathrooms.

And for added comfort, zero-speed stabilisers are available in either electro-hydraulic or gyroscopic form.

Entertainment is taken care of by the VOTIS system, which allows owners to stream music and video to various rooms from one central server.

In the engineroom, Ferretti will fit twin MTU 16V 2000 M94, 2638 mhp engines to deliver a top speed of 26 knots. Rein that in to 12 knots and the Custom Line 108 will do 1,000nms without refuelling.

With a summer 2015 launch planned, superyacht fans can expect to see the Ferretti Custom Line 108 at the Cannes Boat Show in September.
