Gulf Craft Oryx 379: Custom yacht builder to launch 50-knot dayboat at Cannes

Hailing from the UAE and packing a 50-knot top speed, the Oryx 379 is sure to make a splash at the 2019 Cannes show

Much like Ocean Alexander with its OA45 Divergence, custom yacht builder Gulf Craft will launch an outboard-powered dayboat in what is a departure for the Emirate shipyard.

The Oryx range is a peculiar one but this boat taps in to what a lot of customers are looking for at the moment – decent outboard power, an inviting and open main deck and a nod to weekending below decks.

The Oryx 379’s walkaround decks flank a cockpit with a balance of sunbathing and dining space, sheltered by a substantial T-top.

Below, where the Oryx 379 differs to some rivals, it has both an open-plan convertible berth in the bow but there is also a separate double cabin amidships and a separate bathroom.
