Don’t let these serene renderings fool you; the Technohull 38 Grand Sport will be capable of a terrific turn of speed

The speed freaks at Technohull have turned things up to 11 with their latest luxury RIB, which is due to churn up some serious wake when it launches at the end of the summer.

Boasting a breakneck top speed of 103 knots, the kind of speed normally reserved for super-lean raceboats, the Technohull 38 Grand Sport looks set to leave everything and everyone floundering in its wake.

Mercury Verado outboard power is the first ingredient in this unhinged recipe with three of the recently released 450hp units packed onto the transom.

Add those to a slender 3.1m beam, a semi wave-piercing bow and a Dynastream hull design and you have the fastest Technohull to date.

A choice of three types of shock-absorbing bucket seats ensure the 38 Grand Sport won’t be a bone-rattling ride, and you can customise your model with a huge range of Spradling fabrics, teak decking, deck shower, heads, bimini or hardtop shades, and even a cuddy cabin.

Whatever you choose, you can be fairly confident you and your friends will be the first ones to the beach!
