Take a look at MBM's guide to what's going on this weekend around the country

This bank holiday weekend will see a host of great boating events taking place across the country, so if you’re not on the water, head down to any one of the below and satisfy that boating bug!

In Wales, the Welsh Boat Show is on for the second time at Carmarthen, with a strong turnout expected . According to organisers, there’ll be some great brands on show, from Fairline and Sealine to Jeanneau and Rodman.

Back in England’s bosom, the MBM-sponsored Thames Valley Rally is taking place. The event is now in its 25th year, and going from strength to strength. Up to 100 boats are expected at the rally, with entertainment including a pig roast, boat handling competition and dinner dance.

Heading south, Southampton’s Hamble Point Marina is hosting the Sports Boat & RIB Show , which is offering free entry this year.

Further east, Tarquin Motor Yachts is running its annual Trader Days event at Emsworth. Visitors will be offered complimentary entertainment in a marina-side marquee in between viewing the more than 30 brokerage craft on display.

Over in Eastbourne, the Premier Roadshow is rolling into Sovereign Harbour Marina, and will be displaying various yachts and motorboats, including the Cranchi 28CSL and Zaffiro 32es.

And if you really want to get away, then head over to Jersey, where you’ll be caught up in all the excitement as the island hosts its very first Jersey Boat Show . Like all good boat shows, a Royal Navy warship is swinging by for a visit .

So there you have it. Have a great bank holiday weekend.
