Primary Fairline dealer Bates Wharf has announced that it will be bringing a Targa 38 to the London On-Water Boat Show
Bates Wharf is the latest exhibitor to sign up for the 2016 London On-Water Boat Show, with the brokerage firm due to display a Fairline Targa 38.
The four-day event in London’s St Katharine Docks will run from May 4-7 with other exhibitors including Princess Yachts and Wessex Marine.
However, Bates Wharf’s presence is particularly significant as it will be the first exhibiton of a new Fairline model since the Oundle-based yard was bought out of administration by new Russian owners last month.
The Targa 38 is the entry-level model in the Fairline Boats collection, and with the largest engine option of twin 400hp Volvo Penta D6 engines fitted, it is the fastest Fairline ever with a top speed of over 40 knots.
Bates Wharf has been Fairline’s exclusive representative on the South Coast since April 2015, however the firm chose to focus on its Sessa and Chris-Craft offerings at the recent London Boat Show at the Excel Centre due to the uncertainty over Fairline’s ownership.
