The Cranchi Z35 reignites Cranchi's talent for creating stylish, well-made open sportscruisers

The Cranchi Z35 is Cranchi doing what it does best: stylish open cockpit boats with a quality finish.

The Z35 is a return to form for the yard after some years experimenting with the likes of fast trawler yachts and larger flybridge boats.

This boat is all about the cockpit which, due to there being no sidedecks, extends to the boat’s full beam with a central staircase on the dash leading through the windscreen and on to the foredeck.

Within the spacious cockpit is a huge C-shaped dinette and a well provisioned wet-bar plus a useful forward-facing seating area forward adjacent to the helm.

But this cockpit focus doesn’t mean that Cranchi has ignored the interior, which gets a compact galley, good-sized day heads and two double cabins.

A pair of Volvo Penta D4 260s on sterndrives complete the package and should make for a top speed of 34 knots with laugh-a-minute handling to match.
