Prestige 460 to launch at the Miami Boat Show

The Prestige 460, an updated version of the 450, will be unveiled at the American show next week

The Prestige 460 will have its global launch at the Miami Boat Show next week.

Based on the existing 450, the new model’s styling has been brought into line to mimic larger boats in the range like the 680 and latest 630.

The Garroni design sees the familiar hull window shapes come into play and the stylish, wraparound windscreen that adorns other models in the range.

The 460 inherits IPS 500 or 600 engine options from the 450, which should make for a top speed of 32 knots with the larger units.

One subtle difference between the two models can be found in the cockpit, where the central transom bench with access either side has been replaced by a more sociable L-shaped arrangement that has space beneath for a presumably rather small crew cabin.

Interestingly, the 460 doesn’t have the separate access master cabin of the boat it replaces, possibly in a bid to improve the feeling of space in the saloon which always felt a little compromised with the two staircases in place.

A 460S coupe version will arrive this summer.
